Surprise! Ringback Tones Continue To See Growth

BMI, the performance rights organization, is reporting that ringback tones are still growing in the US. BMI is estimating that ringback tone revenues will surpass $235 million this year, up 15% from an estimated $205 million in 2008. BMI also claimed that 10 million cell phone users subscribe to a ringback-related service in the US – about 4% of the total market.
