Jammie Thomas Guilty Of File Sharing Again – To The Tune Of $1.92 Million
A federal jury has ruled that Jammie Thomas violated the copyrights on 24 songs, and awarded recording companies $1.92 million, or $80,000 per song. Thomas, now Thomas-Rasset, received an even bigger beatdown then the first time she was tried by a different federal jury in 2007, which only levied a $222,000 judgment. Spectrasonics Pushes Back Trilian Release Date
Spectrasonics, the innovative software concern, has pushed back their successor to Trilogy, Trilian, to October 26, 2009 due to the loss of employee, Barbara Klinger. Trilian, Spectrasonics’ enhanced virtual bass instrument plug-in, encountered a setback “due to the unexpected death of a key member of the Spectrasonics Team.”
