SC Johnson Releases Raver Repellent

Special To FutureMusic

Just in time for the electronic music festival season, comes a product that every DJ will want in his gear bag, Raver Repellent. From SC Johnson, the makers of Drano, comes this much needed product that claims to repel even the most intoxicated, beverage-spilling, electronic music fan. SC Johnson was set to premier their latest formula at Tomorrowland, but spokesperson, Steve Aoki, accidentally sprayed himself in the face and was forced to reschedule his performance.

“There’s nothing worse than having some loud, slurring drunk spitting in my face while telling me how great I was at Ultra when I wasn’t even there this year,” relayed John Digweed, one of Raver Repellent’s endorsers.

With the large, easy to pull trigger and wide field of spray, DJ’s can instantaneously halt any imbecile who’s about to deposit their sticky cocktail on their rig. The spray paralyzes the inebriated for just long enough so they can be carted away by a club’s bouncers without any long-term effects. Raver Repellent has been in development for several years and to determine the formula’s precise strength, SC Johnson tested different potencies on soccer hooligans at Newcastle United’s St. James’ Park in order to find the perfect mix that would neutralize any derelict that a DJ may encounter.

Based on early praise for Raver Repellent, SC Johnson has already contacted Elon Musk to see if they can license Tesla’s Pedestrian-Detection technology for a robotic version, which would automatically dispense any unwanted Raver advances without a DJ having to become distracted when pushing Sync on his Traktor rig.

Raver Repellent can be found in your Grocer’s freezer for $39.95.
