Warner Taps MySpace For James Blunt Release

Warner Music Group will utilize MySpace to sell downloads of the new James Blunt album “All the Lost Souls”. WMG is outsourcing sales to LaLa, who has developed a Download Widget to offer the album for $9.99, allowing buyers download it directly to their iPod. Radiohead Inks Download Deal With 7digital

Radiohead has inked a deal with 7digital to feature most of its catalog on the U.K. digital download service, who has been making news lately with exclusive content agreements. EMI, the band’s former label, reached an accord with 7digital for “OK Computer” and “The Bends” but only full album downloads will be offered, not individual tracks.
