RIAA Sends 15,000 Illegal File Sharing Complaints To Universities
Approximately 15,000 students from 25 colleges and universities in the United Stated have received complaints from the RIAA alleging illegal music file sharing. The top five offending schools were Ohio, Purdue, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Tennessee and the University of South Carolina. Viacom Enters Licensing Deal With Joost
Viacom has announced a licensing deal with Joost, a new Internet service that specializes in commercial video content. The announcement comes just two weeks after the concern ordered Google to pull its content off of YouTube.
