Ableton Announces 20 Years of KOMPAKT Pop-Up Store Berlin Event
Ableton and KOMPAKT announce the “20 Years of KOMPAKT Pop-Up Store” hosted at Ableton Headquarters in Berlin. From August 31st to September 7th, Berlin-based music software makers Ableton are opening their doors to the public for the first time to host a week-long pop-up store by KOMPAKT, the Cologne-based electronic music pioneers who celebrate their 20th anniversary this year.
Artists from the KOMPAKT roster and renowned Ableton artists will be on hand for a series of performances, DJ sets, presentations and workshops — all of them free and open to the public. Visitors can also try out Push, Ableton’s first hardware instrument, and get a demo of Live, the company’s flagship music software.
Situated in Ableton’s spacious headquarters, the KOMPAKT / Ableton store will open its doors on Saturday August 31, 2013 in conjunction with Torstrassen Festival and will remain open until September 7, coinciding with Berlin Music Week. Come on down for great music, record shopping, free drinks and get up close and personal with these two mainstays of electronic music.
