Nothing, a technology-forward consumer headphone brand, has introduced Headphone (1) Pro, a new headphone that claims to have a flat frequency response for music producers. FutureMusic hasn’t tested these cans, so the claims below haven’t been substantiated. Nothing asserts that the Headphone (1) Pro is designed to combine studio-grade sound with a refined, highly engineered design.

Headphone (1) Pro features a triple-driver architecture designed to deliver greater detail and balance across the full frequency spectrum. A 40mm bass driver covers 20Hz–10kHz, a dynamic driver handles 5kHz–15kHz, and a dedicated xMEMS tweeter extends from 10kHz to 40kHz. The headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified for both wired and wireless listening, with LDAC supporting wireless playback up to 24-bit/96kHz. USB-C supports lossless playback up to 24-bit/192kHz, while the 3.5mm Aux-in connection supports up to 24-bit/96kHz.
Spatial Audio combines a refined algorithm, dynamic head tracking and the triple-driver architecture to create a more immersive listening experience. Five listening modes are available: Standard, Studio B, Club, Concert Hall and Live House. Studio B was co-developed with Metropolis Studios and is based on one of the studio’s flagship rooms.
Nothing has also collaborated with Metropolis Studios on a new Flat EQ mode designed for a more neutral sound profile. Five additional genre-based EQ profiles, Neo-Jazz, British Rock, UK Rap + Grime, Electronica and Bass, were shaped by British artists. The Nothing X app adds further customization through Simple EQ presets and an Advanced EQ that allows users to adjust individual drivers across the full 20Hz–20kHz range.
For noise cancellation and voice capture, Headphone (1) Pro uses a 10-microphone system with three feed-forward and two feedback microphones on each side. Intelligent AI processing measures external noise and acoustic leakage in real time. Nothing claims the system improves noise cancellation by 5dB and provides 40% broader noise-cancellation coverage than Headphone (1).

The headphones weigh 327g and feature a 2.0mm wider headband, 1.0mm thicker padding and foam that is 50% softer than Headphone (1). A pivot mechanism allows each earcup to tilt by up to 20 degrees, while a redesigned titanium and aluminum structure is intended to maintain comfort without adding unnecessary weight.
Headphone (1) Pro provides up to 30 hours of listening with ANC enabled and up to 68 hours with ANC disabled. A five-minute quick charge provides up to two hours of playback with ANC on. The headphones are rated IP52 for everyday protection against dust and dirt, with water-resistant protection for internal components.
