By synthesizing the sonic transitions of acoustic instruments Inst, with Wave, which adds harmonic and textural variation, Evoke claims to deliver its own distinctive acoustronic sound. The Inst features 34 acoustic instruments, each containing a set of 256 Acoustic Characteristic Arrays, and applies Backtide modulation to reverse their evolution like an ebbing tide and add an undulating motion.

The Wave offers 20 waveforms, each constructed from 128 harmonic tables, enabling harmonic movement and pitch control across a two-octave range. Additionally, two types of filtered white noise generators are available for selection. By interweaving Inst and Wave, Evoke may provide a wide spectrum of sounds, from nostalgic pianos and drone strings to bizarre vibraphones.

Evoke is equipped with a dedicated granular effect, Grain FX, that slices your phrases into micro-grains and transforms and reconstructs them in a variety of ways, manipulating grain shape, time warp, spatial position, and playback method.
