Originally introduced more than 25 years ago, Blue Tubes was one of the first concerns to provide analog-inspired processing in a plug-in. With version 4.0, the entire collection has been rebuilt from the ground up to meet current production standards while preserving the sound and workflow.

Blue Tubes 4 includes 19 processors covering equalization, dynamics, modulation, saturation, delay, stereo imaging, and channel processing. The update introduces a redesigned internal audio architecture, improved stability, optimized CPU performance, and full compatibility with modern macOS and Windows systems, including Apple Silicon support.

Throughout development, the focus remained on maintaining the series’ vintage character rather than transforming it into a visually complex or graph-heavy environment. The updated interfaces are sharper and fully resizable, with multiple GUI skins available, but the classic knob-based workflow remains intact.
