Elektron has announced the Elektron Heat + FX effects processor. Elektron claims the Analog Heat +FX is an all-around processor and manipulation box, providing a wide color palette of processing possibilities for both studio and live applications.
With eight analog stereo distortion circuits, ranging from a subtle clean boost to complete mayhem, Elektron asserts that each circuit provides its own unique way of processing sound. Clean boost, saturation, enhance, mid-drive, crunch, distortion, harmonic fuzz, or high gain, plus the ability to reorder them to experiment and find your own signature sound.

Analog Heat + FX offers the latest effects found in Elektron’s synths
Eight different drive circuits are the source of the firet in the Analog Heat + FX desktop processor. Ranging from Clean Boost and subtle Saturation to Round Fuzz and High Gain, these eight circuits can be selected based on the desired amount of annihilation needed for your signal. As with previous versions, there’s also a flexible multi-mode filter with resonance. lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, and peak. There is also a very basic two-band equalizer to further boost or cut lows and highs.
Analog Heat + FX provides the latest effects found in Elektron synthesizers, plus a host of options never-before seen in their products. Essential time effects like chorus, delay, and reverb are all available as needed, while others such as the lo-fi Warble block and compressor aid complement the analog drive and filtering elements. For even more flexibility, the order of effects can be rerouted for more sonic possibilities.
Analog Heat + FX also expands on the modulation and control capabilities of the originals. Three LFOs, an envelope follower, and external control sources are mappable to nearly any effect parameter. Overbridge support returns, allowing the Analog Heat + FX to practically behave like a DAW plug-in.
