5.1 Music Launches Production Music Catalog In Surround
5.1 Music Inc. has been launched by Christopher Papa, whose background includes 15-plus years of music engineering and production, including projects with Beyonce, Cirque du Soleil and Coca Cola. Acting as founder and creative director, Papa has announced the company’s first product, a production music library catalog available entirely in 5.1 as well as stereo.
While the film and gaming industries pioneered the implementation of surround, 5.1 Music Inc. launches at a time when television and advertising must also rise to meet growing consumer demand. 5.1 Music Inc. libraries are delivered with both a DVD containing 24-bit/48 kHz mixes in 5.1 surround and an audio CD of stereo mixes.
