ADAM Audio, who went down for the count, before a change of ownership and an infusion of cash brought them back on their feet, has resumed production of F, AX and SX series monitors and subwoofers. Certainly good news to fans of their fine ribbon tweeter design. The first models of the AX series (A5X and A7X) will be sent from Berlin to the ADAM distributors and dealers in late January / early February already.
“With the change of ownership late last year we now have the necessary resources to ramp up production again. There is still much work ahead of us as our order books are full. Of course we are very pleased about this, because it shows us that the demand for our monitors remains unabated,” stated Sven Schmöle, Managing Director of ADAM Audio.
The excellent AX series monitors, with the A7X being the bestseller, are among the most successful products made by ADAM Audio with over 100,000 models sold globally to date. With production of their more profitable models now in full-swing, there is new hope that the German concern, which was founded in 1999, can circle the wagons and get back to innovating in the monitor market.
