Slacker Portable Player Delayed Again

The debut of Slacker’s Digital Audio Player has been officially delayed until January 31st, 2008. According to an email received by customers who have pre-ordered, Slacker has rescheduled the ship date of its Wi-Fi-enabled, streaming portable to 2008 “in order to deliver the best possible player.” This is not a good sign. Rhapsody & Haier Unveil Wi-Fi Ibiza Digital Music Player

About a month ago, Rhapsody unveiled it’s own portable music player, the Ibiza Rhapsody, to very little fanfare. The Wi-Fi enabled device debuted in a 30 GB hard drive model, but will also be available in 4GB and 8GB Flash players in the near future.
