Unannounced $20 Price Cut For Zune 8GB Model
Several large retails are now selling the Zune 8GB model for $179.99, a $20 price cut. Best Buy, Circuit City and online retailers Amazon and Buy.com are all offering the black 8GB Zune at the marked down price. The move puts the 4GB model in jeopardy, now only $30 less, but could be part of a larger strategy or market test. Microsoft has not made an official announcement on the new price point.
