Meris Unleashes Enzo X – Polyphonic Synthesizer In A Pedal

Meris has announced the Enzo X, a polyphonic synthesizer in a guitar pedal format. The Enzo X is major upgrade of the original Enzo guitar pedal. It employs the highest quality and most flexible technology to create a polyphonic synthesizer in a guitar pedal format and does not require an external pickup installation.

Meris employed the same Bubble interface from their two previous stellar pedals, the LVX and the Mercury X, to make the Enzo X intuitive to navigate. (Read our Meris LVX review and Meris Mercury X review —Ed.).

“I always dreamed of releasing a synthesizer. And with Enzo X, we released a fully polyphonic monster that you can trigger with any instrument.” — Terry Burton

Enzo X combines five synth modes and incorporates those into a modular system architecture from both the FutureMusic Power Award winning LVX and Mercury X pedals. Including: 6 polyphonic voices (each voice includes a set of two oscillators, filter, filter envelope, amplifier envelope), plus three reverbs are adapted from Mercury X (Prism algorithm), plus five Drives (including Bitcrush), plus full stereo 2.5 second Delay, plus five modulation types. Got that?!

Heritage Audio i73 Pro 2 Audio Interface Review

Heritage Audio released their i73 Pro 2 computer audio interface a few months back and we subjected it to a long-term test with six reviewers to provide a balanced, objective and wide-ranging evaluation. The USB-C Two-In / Four-Out audio interface has two built-in Class A transformer-coupled 1073-style preamps and attempts to bridge the gap between vintage and modern in one compact, desktop unit. The Neve-flavored knobs, green stone covered transformers, dank blue, powder-coated chassis and wood side panels provide just enough vintage vibe to be convincing, but does the i73 Pro 2 actually deliver on the sound? Find out!
