Instead of replicating tube-era technologies, VÄRI employs new materials, modern manufacturing, and novel engineering to create an entirely new, patent-pending microphone architecture with a neutral, high-resolution foundation. The VÄRI Microphone System offers 125 distinct sound characters, tones, or colors. These are stored in permanent, repeatable banks and accessed via three intuitive controls labeled LOW, MID, and HI:
- LOW: from light to super-fat bottom end
- MID: from slightly scooped, through neutral, to very prominent midrange
- HI: from vintage dark and smooth to sparkling modern bright
