The RMX-IGNITE features a 3-Band effects section equipped with two types of effects: Lever FX, which instantly change sound to capture inspiration in the moment, and Isolate FX, which enable smooth and dynamic transformations. These can each be applied to the high, mid, and low frequency bands independently, and freely combine up to six types of effects. With sub-parameter knobs for tonal adjustment, the track can be shaped to enable progressions and deliver rich, expressive performances.

The RMX-IGNITE features a sampler section that can be used to add new textures and creative possibilities to all performances. It also comes preloaded with 20 carefully selected samples from Loopcloud, a leading royalty-free sounds platform trusted by countless dance music producers worldwide. These samples allow artists to add rhythms and creative flair to any DJ performance – no preparation is needed. Using the dedicated RMX-IGNITE Sample Manager software, personalized samples can be exported to a USB drive and inserted into the unit, or into a DJ player connected via a PRO DJ LINK network and drop the sounds into a set.

AlphaTheta RMX-IGNITE Level Effects:
- Echo – Adds a clear delay sound to each range.
- Reverb – Adds reverb to each range.
- Juggle – Delays the sound for each range by 1/2 beat of the BPM.
- Reverse – Outputs the sound in reverse for each range in 1-beat cycle of the BPM.
- Solo – Outputs only the range users use.
- Stretch – Outputs stretched sound for each range in 1-bar cycle of the BPM.

- Tape Echo – Adds a delay with modulation and warmth to each range.*
- Reverb – Adds reverb while adjusting the volume of each range.*
- Drive – Adds a distortion effect while adjusting the volume of each range.*
- Filter – Outputs each range through a filter.
- Ducker – Adds an envelope to the sound of each range in 1-beat cycle of the BPM.
- Rhythm – Rearranges the sound of each range in a 1-bar cycle of the BPM.

? Sample Trigger Pad:
The four sample trigger pads use durable materials and white LEDs for visibility and playability, enabling triggering of samples. In Overdub mode, artists can record and loop samples in 1-bar phrases, layering multiple sounds to build dynamic progressions within a track.
? Sample Roll:
Samples triggered with the pads can be rolled in 10 rhythmic patterns. The newly developed Groove Roll adds expressive variation – by pressing multiple sample roll buttons at once, artists can generate accented, flowing rolls that bring more individuality and energy to any buildup.
? Sampler Color FX:
The sampler section features six dedicated effects (Echo, Space, Filter, Pitch, Decay, Swing), which are controllable with a single knob. These effects enable artists to instantly transform their samples, adding depth, tension, or swing. And because these effects are independent from the 3-Band FX section, artists can process samples separately, further expanding the creative possibilities.
? Release Echo:
With one large button, performers can reset effects and samples that have been applied, returning to the original track with an echo tail. Two modes are available to suit different situations; in Dry mode, the track naturally returns to its original state while keeping the musical flow, and, in Mute mode, the sound cuts out to create a break, adding dramatic variation before playback continues.
? Multicolor screen:
The multicolor display enables users to check key details such as 3-Band FX sub-parameters, loaded samples, selected Sampler Color FX, BPM, and input/output levels. Users can also browse and quickly select samples directly from the screen.
? PRO DJ LINK support:
By syncing BPM and grid information with tracks playing on CDJs and other DJ players, the RMX-IGNITE ensures accurate beat alignment when DJs are using roll and overdub. Performers can also load samples directly from USB drives or SD cards plugged into players connected via PRO DJ LINK. *To use PRO DJ LINK, the firmware of connected DJ players must be updated to the latest version.
? Digital send/return:
The RMX-IGNITE supports digital send/return connections with the DJM-A9 and DJM-V10 mixers. Simply connect a single USB cable to the MULTI I/O terminal on a compatible mixer for quick setup. Because the audio signal is transmitted digitally, performers can deliver clear sound to their audience without compromising quality. *To use digital send/return, the firmware of the compatible DJ mixer must be updated to the latest version.

As well as studio-quality 96 kHz/64-bit mixing DSP processing, the unit includes high-grade 32-bit A/D and D/A converters from ESS Technology on the input and output. Each audio component has been carefully selected and optimized, and the sound has been fine-tuned through extensive listening tests in real-world environments such as clubs. This results in a high-resolution, natural sound that remains true to the original source. Flat tuning preserves the character of the input sound, allowing artists to apply detailed effects seamlessly without compromising the natural audio quality.
