Korg has announced two major changes to its C-Suite aimed at reinforcing its management foundation and guiding the company into its next chapter of growth and innovation.

Effective immediately, Miyou Kato has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director, while Hironori Fukuda has been named Chief Operating Officer and Representative Director. Together, they will lead Korg with a focus on strategic development, operational excellence, and continued innovation in the music technology industry.

In conjunction with these appointments, Makoto Kato, has transitioned to the role of Chair of the Board. He will continue to support the executive team and provide guidance rooted in the company’s legacy and values.

Miyou Kato, daughter of Seiki Kato, represents the third generation of the founding Kato family to lead Korg. She brings a fresh perspective and deep commitment to the company’s heritage. She will work alongside Hironori Fukuda, a 20-year veteran of Korg whose experience spans software engineering, product planning, and executive leadership.
