OneLibrary aims to be a new common standard enabling DJs to freely use their music libraries with no boundaries across different DJ software and hardware. It consists of three main components:
» Establishing Compatibility – A common library format that makes DJ software and hardware compatible across different brands. By standardizing throughout the industry, the initiative aims to enhance the DJ workflow.
» Joint Industry Development – Working with other brands, the OneLibrary team has combined their expertise to create a unified library format for DJs.
» Next-Generation Standard – Together with our industry partners, OneLibrary is being touted as the next-generation standard for DJ music libraries. The three players are planning to expand its compatibility to include more software and hardware in the future.
One Standard – Multiple Hardware
OneLibrary claims DJs can export their playlists and track data, managed in compatible DJ software, to a USB storage device and play their music using compatible hardware.
