Heritage Audio Releases Symph EQ Plug-In

Heritage Audio has released the Symph EQ as a plug-in that recreates the sound of their hardware EQ when it was launched in January 2021. The original was designed to offer natural EQ adjustments using a new shelving curve approach.

The Symph EQ plug-in offers a more affordable way to achieve the same sound, allowing users to improve their stereo mixes with just a few simple adjustments. It can be used in stereo, mono, or Mid/Side (M/S) mode, with the M/S mode offering unique benefits like thickening the center of the mix and widening the stereo image. The plug-in is quick to set up and delivers smooth, natural-sounding results thanks to its gentle EQ curves and minimal phase shifting.

The Symph EQ plug-in offers a more affordable way to achieve the same sound as the hardware unit…

Heritage Audio’s goal with this plug-in, like their other recent products, is to make high-quality tools accessible to as many music producers as possible. Owners of the SYMPH EQ hardware can get the plug-in for free, as can owners of certain other Heritage Audio products.
