EQ: The BritStrip’s 73-style, inductor-based EQ provides musical boosts even at extreme settings. The MID band is ideal for sculpting fat, punchy snare, guitar, and vocal sounds. Its high-pass filter allows users to clean up low-end without affecting other frequencies. The Hi and Low Shelves include a versatile bell mode for precise tone shaping.
Compressor: Modeled after the same diode-bridge compressor found in Heritage Audio’s Successor stereo bus compressor, the BritStrip’s compressor excels for tracking. It provides solid, dynamic control with a Blend function to mix original and compressed signals. The built-in side-chain filter allows precise frequency-specific compression for enhanced control.

Preamp Models: Originally designed to complement the i73 PRO USB-C audio interfaces with Heritage Audio’s Class A 73-style preamps, BritStrip now offers two versions: one without the preamp model (the “lighter” version) and one with the preamp included (the “full” version).

BritStrip is compatible with MacOS (10.15.7 and higher, both Intel and Native Apple Silicon) and Windows (10 and 11), supporting AAX, AU, and VST3 formats. An iLok account is required for activation, and the trial version is fully functional for 14 days after activation.
