Tracktion Corporation has released Waveform Free, a new Digital Audio Workstation for Mac, PC, Linux and Raspberry PI.
Tracktion’s Waveform Free has no restrictions, and more capabilities than most producers will ever need. The new DAW is suitable for all three major desktop operation systems; Windows, OSX and Linux as well as the revolutionary Raspberry Pi. It is fully compatible with the new generation of expressive instruments and also supports MPE. Waveform Free includes Tracktion’s MIDI Pattern Generator to create synchronized melodies, chord progressions, bass lines and more, the 40SC Virtual Synthesizer and Micro Drum Sampler.
Getting started is easy with dozens of tutorial videos as well numerous templates such as EDM production, band recording and mixing, location recording for churches schools and many others. Waveform Free can tackle music composition, designing sound for video, recording and editing podcasts or live recording.
