Behringer Readies TD-3 – Roland TB-303 Clone

Behringer must have been licking their chops when Roland debuted their TB-03, a DIGITAL version of their famed TB-303 using their mildly-amusing Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology. Behringer, known more for their inexpensive recreations of market-proven products, took one listen to Roland’s reboot and knew it didn’t have that “special acid grease” the much-sought after original possessed.

Behringer has been having fun hyping the upcoming release with the video below (the “code” meaning November 8th —Ed):

 
However, the proverbial cat came out of the bag when Behringer inadvertently or maybe deliberately, put up a TD-3 webpage, which was promptly pulled down once the interwebs caught fire. The biggest reaction has not been to the sound of the 303, but to the potential price, which has been reported to be anywhere between €99 and €150. Either way, at this price there are all sorts of possibilities of how you might get your Acid on this holiday season…
