Behringer has decided to take a quick break from cloning other manufacturer’s gear and has debuted the Crave, a new semi-modular analog synth at a very affordable price point.
There’s not much to go on. In fact, the Crave isn’t even on Behringer’s website yet, but here’ what we can tell you. The Crave contains the same 3340 analog oscillator found on the Sequential Prophet 5 and on their new Neutron (Moog Mother clone), a Moog ladder filter, a patch bay, a step sequencer and an arpeggiator.
Behringer Crave Features:
» 3340 analog oscillator
» Moog-style Ladder filter (hi pass / low pass)
» Step sequencer (32 steps x 8 sequences)
» External MIDI transposition
» Per-step glide time, ratchet, gate length, accent
» Semi-modular patch bay
» USB with MIDI
» MIDI I/O
Behringer’s Crave costs $199 / €149. No availability has been announced.
