Elektron Set To Roll Out Overbridge – Audio/MIDI Computer Integration Technology Over USB

Swedish concern Elektron has detailed the rollout for Overbridge, a VSTi plug-in announced last Spring, which provides computer integration of Elektron’s analog synthesizers and drum machines. Utilizing a single USB cable, Elektron claims that users will be able to record multiple analog voices to separate Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) tracks with minimal latency.

Analog Four, Analog Rytm and Analog Keys will be supported and not only will you be able to manage presets and project settings, Elektron asserts you’ll be able to send your digital tracks from your DAW into an Elektron product to warm it up with its analog circuits.

A public open beta is set to be distributed by the end of May with version 1.0 to debut by the end of the year.
