Paul’s Extreme Sound Stretch is a free, open-source, Windows/Linux program for drastically stretching audio to oppressive durations. It is suitable only for extreme sound stretching of the audio (like 50x) and for applying special effects by “spectral smoothing” the sounds. It can transform any sound/music to a texture for ambient soundscapes.
When Paul says extreme time stretching, he means it. You can stretch 3 minutes of audio to 3 hours (…and beyond. Way beyond. We’re talking days here kids! —Ed.)
