Vintage Ad Monday Madness: Moog Memorymoog
Here’s an ad we unearthed for the Moog Memorymoog. The Memorymoog was a polyphonic synthesizer manufactured by Moog Music from 1982 to 1985, and was the last synthesizer to be released by the concern.
The Memorymoog was capable of storing 100 preset sounds, and was sometimes described as “having six Minimoogs in one unit.” Unfortunately it was plagued by reliability issues, and the synth is credited as the product that hammered the final nail in the Moog Music coffin.
