Meet The Ambassador – Ableton Live MIDI Controller
Aux Armes, a DJ/VJ from Austin, Texas, recently put the finishing touches on his handmade Ambassador Ableton Live controller. The one-off uses arcade game quality buttons, an aluminum top panel and a custom wood chassis, and looks pretty pro, save for the computer mouse that looks like it was glued on as an afterthought.
Aux Armes claims that the Ambassador uses “all key commands through a custom driver to handle playback, effects, editing, warping, UI, mouse clicks, scroll messages, and more, with a lot of tweaks (some strobe, some send double messages, etc).” Hopefully, Aux Armes will enlist his VJ skills and post of video of the Ambassador in action.
