Sony Readies “Rolly” MP3 Player For Berlin Debut
Sony is said to be readying a new “eccentric” MP3 player with built in speakers and an egg-shaped form factor. The Walkman-branded device is also said to some sort of motion control built in with pre-programmed “choreography.”
The “rolly” as it’s been dubbed will make its debut at the German IFA tech show in Berlin. Other than the purposely leaked teaser-photo above, there’s not much else to go on, however Sony has hinted that there are additional eccentric features aboard. The Rolly sounds kind of gimmicky to us, but at this point Sony doesn’t have any more ground to lose in the digital music player market, so why not…
