GForce Updates M-Tron (Universal Binary)
GForce has updated their M-Tron, a virtual Mellotron, for Intel Macs (Universal Binary). Described as an “epic and exhausting” task, the update is the first of many Universal Binaries to come from the concern. The M-Tron is modelled on the famous tape-based instrument used on classic tracks like the Beatles’ Strawberry Fields Forever and used by such keyboard luminaries as Rick Wakeman, who describes it as “totally authentic,” and Tony Banks of Genesis fame.
The GForce M-Tron update is free to users who purchased and registered their instrument after the 1st October 2006. If you purchased your M-Tron before 1st October 2006, you will need to update to the Universal M-Tron via the shop for $26.00 / £13.99 / €19.99. More information on the GForce M-Tron Update.
