Gestrument has released Gestrument Pro, a new an inspiring methodology for music making on the Apple iOS platform. Based on the original Gestrument, composer Jesper Nordin and iOS-developer Jonatan Liljedahl, haven taken their iOS music making technology to the next level with Gestrument Pro, an app that allows users bend and play with the rules and properties of music in ways previously unseen by iOS music market.
Since its launch in 2012, Gestrument (“gesture-instrument”) has allowed users to compose and improvise in real-time by interacting and experimenting with the building-blocks of music. Gestrument Pro launches on September 25th in the App Store. The app itself was created as a deepdive into the features and concepts that made the original Gestrument app unique. Gestrument Pro claims to portray a whole new way of thinking about music, as it blurs the line between a playable instrument and a composed piece of music.

Gestrument Pro introduces a host of new features such as multi-touch, recordable automations, an advanced scale-editor, and most importantly their brand-new modular generators that define pitch and rhythm. The new feature-set in Gestrument Pro adds a fair amount of depth and complexity to the app, making a great choice for more advanced users such as composers, producers and musicians.
