Mojave has released the MA-50 large-diaphragm Transformerless condenser microphone. The MA-50 claims to deliver expensive-sounding performance, using the same capsule as Mojave’s popular MA-200 and MA-201fet microphones, with a project-studio price tag. Featuring a fixed-cardioid polar pattern, fast transient response, and high SPL handling, the MA-50 captures vocals, acoustic instruments, drums, and more with low noise and excellent off-axis rejection, making it an ideal workhorse mic for your cabinent.
Mojave Microphones is aiming for flexibility with this affordable condenser.. This microphone’s low noise, combined with fast transient response and high SPL handling, makes it equally at home in vocal, voice-over, acoustic instrument, drum overhead, percussion, and Foley/ADR applications.
