Akai has just started delivering some details on their new 4-voice, analog mini-synth, dubbed the Timbre Wolf. No, not a great name, but hopefully a great sound. Here’s what we can tell you at this early stage:
Akai’s Timbre Wolf is a 4-voice polyphonic analog synth, which is configurable as 4 mono synths, a 4-voice unison or a 4-voice polysynth. The Timbre Wolf features Akai’s 25-key custom Pro keyboard, as well as a 32-step sequencer for each voice. An LED display and Octave +/- controls gives you visual indications.
