CWI Releases TX16Wx – Free Multitimbral VSTi Plug-In For Windows
Calle Wilund (CWI) has released TX16Wx, a free VSTi Sampler for Windows with professional features and an easy to use graphical interface. “Not a preset-player or disk-streaming library engine, this is a plug-in for you to make your own sounds, tweak and experiment.” OK, settle down Calle Wilund, we believe you. By calling it the TX, an obvious nod to Yamaha’s FM synths of yesteryear, Wilund is going after that distinctive 80’s sound.
“After several years of on/off development,” Wilund reve I finally got my act together (somewhat) during July of 2011 and fixed the few remaining features I wanted to add before publishing the plugin. The result is the first public beta release of the TX16Wx VSTi Software Sampler.”
