AfroDJMac Unveils Free Fender Feedback Rack For Ableton Live
AfroDJMac has released his fifteenth free Ableton Rack, the Fender Feedback Rack. Being a guitarist, I always loved the sound of the electric guitar growling over into harmonically rich feedback. So I set up my Fender Mustang and Fender Jag-Stang, ran them through my trusty sea-foam green Fender Deluxe, cranked up the gain and began sampling. If you were there, listening to all that noise I was making, you”d be surprised at how the final product turned out. More like a vintage electric piano, rich and warm in flavor, I might even call this instrument “mellow.” Even though, in all honesty, I was hoping for something as ruthless as the source material, this instrument has warmth and character.
I added effects that I thought were useful to the sounds, Lo-pass Filter, Tremolo, Vibrato, Chorus, Reverb, Flanger, and just to dirty it up a bit, Vinyl distortion, which can be mix to taste. Enjoy, and as always, send along word of any music you create with this or any of these racks.
