iXimix Premiers TrakProDJ & VTI Pro Controller Apps For iOS
iXimix has announced that it is developing several multitouch-based controller Apps for Apple’s iPad. TrakProDJ, a Traktor controller is the first controller to debut. TrakProDJ is a MIDI DJ Control system for iOS devices and claims to have low latency via Coremidi Networking technology, with speeds of around 1-3ms.
TrakProDJ is compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows platforms and available for both iPads and iPhones.
The second app, VTI Pro, controls the Access Virus synthesiser directly from the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Again, utilizing the Coremidi networking technology, VTI Pro connects to your Access Virus Synthesiser via your DAW using Wi-fi and offers control to nearly all of the available control parameters.
VTI Pro is built for use with the Virus TI / TI2 Range, but will work for all Access Virus synthesisers (A, B, Classic and C) Note: Some parameters only work exclusively with TI models.
