FXpansion Announces Geist Sampling Drum Machine Plug-In
FXpansion has announced Geist, their next-generation sampling drum machine (no, we don’t get the name either. —Ed.) Geist is designed to create evolved, custom beats and grooves, freeing you from the limits of pre-packaged loops and over-complicated DAWs. Their moto: “Free your sampler and your a$$ will follow” pertains to Geist’s ability to sample, slice, sequence, mix, arrange, effect and resample.
Geist fuses creative sample-sculpting tools with fast pattern step-sequencing and arrangement. Geist runs as a plug-in and as a standalone application. and allows you to export creations as audio clips or load sessions back into the plug-in to resample, reslice, remix, rearrange and transform your beats even further.
