Monster MPC MIDI Controller Debuts On Warped Tour
David Bwack and his father built a huge MPC style MIDI controller for the group Family Force 5. The Bwack MPC weighs 750 lbs and measures 7′ square. It contains a 22? screen, 10 knobs, 8 momentary switches, 2 mod/pitch wheels, and 16 LED backlit, pressure-sensitive, silicon pads.
Bwack built the device so that Family Force 5 could take it on the Warped Tour. Other gear includes a Mac Mini running Ableton Live, a M-Audio 410, a UC-33 controller and a Korg padKONTROL.
