Ministry Of Sound Changes Name To MSHK Group

Ministry of Sound (MOS) is changing its name to the MSHK Group. The name change reflects the company’s diversification into sound and audio gear, toiletries, and camping equipment. The company will embark on a rebranding effort to solidify the name change MSHK Group.

James Palumbo, MOS’s founder, is now officially the CEO and has steered the company since he initially launched it as a London dance club in the Elephant and Castle district of south London in 1991. While the original club remains, MOS has become a multimedia business empire, incorporating more than 2,000 live events each year, and launching clubs in as far away as Egypt and Malaysia. With revenues nearing £100 million / $195 million this year amid a downturn for the dance music sector in general, MOS has adroitly shifted its business by maintaining several prominent dance music brands including HedKandi, Global Underground and Euphoria.

MSHK is very excited about the Hedkandi brand and believes new haircare products and fragrances will help establish the sub-brand as a major player.
