Loop Cache Releases 8 Bit Beats Sample Collection
Loop Cache has released 8 Bit Beats, a sample collection of crunchy 8 Bit sounds. 8 Bit beats contains samples and loops created using sounds harvested from the Gameboy, Elektron SID Station and a host of Retro 8 Bit emulators. All recorded at 24bit quality, normalised and edited for minimum hiss. (Well that’s a relief, because who wants to spend hard earned money for hiss. –Ed.)
8 Bit Beats Includes over 700 single hits (Kicks, Bass, Cyms, Claps, FX, etc) and over 500 Drum, Percussion and Synth loops in both WAV and Rex2 formats. Over 1700 samples in total. There’s a Demo Pack available for download that contains 22 loops, which you can mine to create your own sounds since their pricing is a tad high.
