Applied Acoustics Systems Releases Strum Acoustic GS-1 – Acoustic Guitar Synth For Mac & PC

Applied Acoustics Systems has released Strum Acoustic GS-1, a new acoustic guitar software synthesizer for Mac and PC.

Based on AAS physical modeling technology, Strum ships with a collection of steel and nylon acoustic guitars. It includes a voicing module which automatically voices chords played on the keyboard as a guitar player would on the fretboard. Strumming and picking actions are reproduced by an auto-strum function, special strumming keys, or MIDI loops. An EQ, a multi-effect, and a reverb module complete the package. Strum Acoustics GS-1 runs on both Mac OS X and Windows as a standalone application or as a plug-in.

Applied Acoustics Systems’ Strum Acoustic GS-1 is available for $229 and comes in the VST, Audio Units, and RTAS plug-in flavors. A demo is available for download on both platforms. More information on Applied Acoustics Systems Strum Acoustic GS-1.
