Reel Deal Offers Last Of Analog Quantegy Tapes
Reel Deal Pro Audio has purchased the last remaining stock of Quantegy’s tape, and is now offering the inventory for sale via its website. The inventory is stored in a climate controlled facility and can be shipped to any location in the world.
Sizes and configurations range from 2-inch on tape 14-inch reels to 1/4-inch tape on 5-inch reels, the latter suitable for portable Nagra recorders. Accessories include leader and splicing tapes, empty reels and boxes, and cleaning wipes and fluids. With the inventory, Reel Deal Pro Audio hopes to accommodate the needs of the full spectrum of users from commercial studios to home recordists and hobbyists. There are no plans to produce any more of the magnetic stripes, so smoke ’em, if you got ’em.
