Tone2 Unleashes FilterBank3
Tone2 has released FilterBank3, the updated version of their VST synthesizer and a flexible multi-effect unit. The modular design and flexible modulation routing give you many creative possibilities. With self-oscillating filters, oscillators, feedback, and a built-in step sequencer, FilterBank3 can create complete rhythmic sequences and textures.
With full MIDI implementation, all of FilterBank3’s parameters can be tweaked in realtime, which opens up many possibilities when playing live. The MIDI learn function automatically assigns Midi #CC to your controller and remembers it on startup. FilterBank3 can automatically sync to the host’s BPM for beat-oriented delay times and LFO’s. If you are using a mouse, the plug-in features technology to smooth your movements automatically for a glitch-free performance.

Tone2’s FilterBank3 costs $79 / €59 and is available for Windows in VST instrument and effect formats. Mac OS X VST/AU instrument and effect versions are expected to be released in short order.
