Black Lion Audio’s MicroClock Now Shipping

Black Lion Audio has announced that their MicroClock, an external word clock generator, is now available. Black Lion is a couple of dudes out of Chicago who are known for upgrading the lackluster internal components of MOTU and Digidesign’s entry-level gear. They recently added M-Audio’s Delta 1010 and FW1814 to the list of gear that benefit from the “Black Lion treatment.”

They decided to create the MicroClock because they believed that most designated Word Clock generators “were often filled with features that most people never use.” The MicroClock is a simple, small device that measures only 3 inches by 4 inches, sports three 75 ohm BNC outputs, and generates six different sampling rates, from 44.1 kHz on up to 192 kHz. Black Lion claims it provides a “wide, separated soundstage and will add smooth, neutral clarity to your digital conversion.”

The Black Lion MicroClock costs $385 plus shipping. A 30 day return policy is offered. More information on the Black Lion MicroClock.
