CMJ Announces OnStage Talent Contest To Promote New Service
CMJ’s OurStage has announced a music contest that could land your live act at Bonnaroo and CMJ’s Music Marathon. It’s kinda like their version of American Idol, but hopefully with good music…
The gist of the contest is that you register for OurStage by filling out some forms and then uploading your music and/or video. Members then vote on the music/video they like best giving you the chance to get a track placed on CMJ New Music Monthly’s CD, and a slot at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon And Film Festival. OurStage will also choose three acts to perform at this year’s Bonnaroo Festival and four for the Boston Pops Concert Series.
