The Future: The combination of Cycling and Ableton has fascinating possibilities, especially with Max/MSP’s flexible and extensible architecture. Plogue may have also been on Ableton’s shopping list at one point, but Cycling’s breadth of experience and product base opens the door of possibilies much wider.
