Sonoma Releases Riffworks Standard Version 2.0

Sonoma has released version 2.0 of Riffworks Standard. The new version includes: RiffCaster instant podcasting, RiffLink online collaboration, IK Multimedia AmpliTube LE guitar amp and effects plug-in, Mac OS Universal with Core Audio device compatibility and WinXP with ASIO device compatibility.

There are also many new recording features in version 2.0, here’s a full listing:

• Improved interface – Revised layout enhances easy operation.
• RiffCaster one-click broadcasting – Podcast or webcast from a single button within RiffWorks rather than having to email songs from your machine to a server.
• RiffLink intgrated interface for online jamming – Collaborate and chat online with musicians all over the world!
• Expanded InstantDrummer Library – Top drum-session companies are providing content for RiffWorks users – 8 InstantDrummer sessions (2 new) now included free and more are now available.
• Mac OS Universal Compatibility.
• Mac OS Core Audio Device Compatibility – RiffWorks Standard supports them all, Line 6 Edition now supports TonePort.
• Windows XP ASIO Device Compatibility – RiffWorks Standard supports them all, Line 6 Edition now supports supports • GuitarPort, the PodXT family, and now supports TonePort.
• IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube LE guitar amp and effects plug-in (RiffWorks Standard only).
• SongLayer tool for full song-length recording.
• Riff Gain – Master gain control for each riff.
• Riff Effects – Effects chain on the Riff as a whole in addition to each layer.
• Backup Effects – Complete effects chain for each backup module including InstantDrummer, ReWire and the REX player.
• One-shot Record – Alternative to continuous looped recording mode.
• Fade Automation – Continuous volume control for each layer.
• Riff Notes – A place to make remarks about recordings.
• Help Tab – Instant access to documentation without leaving the application.
