Track It Down Launches Version 2.0
TrackItDown.net has launched its next generation online electronic music store. The new site features a new Jukebox, improved site speed, quicker downloads and a new graphical user interface.
TrackItDown.net is still a generation behind industry leader Beatport, but version 2.0 brings many welcomed additions to their 20,000 current subscribers. The first thing many will notice is the more mature and sophisticated interface. Instead of version 1.0’s information overload, TrackItDown.net has a more polished feel, although there’s still room for improvement in the two-tiered navigation bar and much too small text. The colors have been reduced and now stand at a gray, black and pink – very 80’s.
The Jukebox has been completely revamped so that you can listen and browse at the same time. This will be the single biggest improvement to Track It Down’s bottom line. Shopping efficiency coupled with a smooth purchasing flow will enable visitors to buy more music in less time.
