World’s Biggest Subwoofer – Danley Sound Labs Matterhorn

Danley Sound Labs has unleashed the Matterhorn Subwoofer to the US military, which they claim is the world’s biggest to date. It repurposes a 20 x 8 x 8 foot shipping container as its enclosure and requires 40,000 watts of power. The military uses these types of speakers to simulate battlefield action, but with the Matterhorn’s specs, they appear to be training for Thermonuclear War.
