Ali B's London based club night Air has rocked the UK faithful with the finest beats and breaks for the past 9 years - now the party comes packaged in a
18 cut mix CD featuring some of the biggest names in breaks including Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, DJ Icey, Soul Of Man, Freq Nasty, Deekline,

The Beat Poet throws down "The Fear" a hysterically funny, stream-of-conscious recap of a marijuana high gone terribly wrong.
Da Poet's razor sharp lyrics keep you focused, but it's the Willy Wonka adventure that keeps you giggling and coming back for more. With tight
production that not only supports the Beat Poet's content, but also comprehends who he is, you get a great track whose chorus could easily be
the Ringtone of the Year!

../ Output Recordings Closes Up Shop
Label Head Trevor Jackson Blows An "O-Ring" In Farewell Rant/Letter
Output Recordings, the UK based label, has ceased operations. In a farewell
"letter" to industry contacts, the label's founder and owner, Trevor Jackson, ranted about artist conflicts and financial strains for
the reason to shutter the label which was home to LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, Mu, Tet, and others including Jackson's own musical ventures,
Playgroup and Underdog.

The Day-To-Day Strains Of Running The Label Got To Him
Founded in 1996, Output quickly found success releasing the likes of The
Rapture, Black Strobe and LCD Soundsystem. However, it's obvious that the day-to-day strains of running the label got to him, especially
dealing with the artists on his roster. "I saw people I thought were my friends turn into monsters, sycophantic fools jump bandwagons quicker t
han sneaker styles, and individuals I thought were affiliates stab me in the back without even thinking twice. Babysitting grown adults is
not a skill I possess, so I am more than happy to pass the gauntlet on to trust-funded pseudo-Indies with fat pockets and no imagination.
Let them deal with paranoid artists with inflated egos who believe their own hype and request tour riders fit for royalty," Jackson states
in his communication. "I never wanted to have all my passion and enthusiasm knocked out of me, but somehow it's happened."
Jackson, who is either in the Looney Bin or knee deep in hoppy beverages at
his local pub, thankfully offered some love to his supporters. "I would like to express my gratitude to all the music lovers, buyers, record
stores, radio and club DJs, journalists, labels, artists, promoters, and remixers worldwide who supported the label (many of you from day one!).
I will miss all the positive feedback and kind words, which I constantly found uplifting, and which gave me the energy to carry on even in
the most difficult of circumstances."
Starting from October 1, the final Output release will be made available as
free MP3 download for one month only from the Output
Recordings website which now solemnly reads "1996-2006"
The Future: Another sad case of drunken emailing results in a burn
and crash of the highest magnitude. Remember kids: Wait 24 hours before sending a drunken rant - you'll thank us in the morning.
